My first cover for Yellow Door Press!
I had already selected and refined the interior, a simple weight training logbook. But the cover design stumped me. What was my brand, what did I want the cover to say about Yellow Door Press?
So I threw together some simple requirements - the book title, the tag line, dumbbells, some yellow and sent it off to my designer.
What came back was this cover, and a bonus of a 2nd cover. I instantly loved them both. ? Yellow Door Press as a brand was born!
One of the most important lessons I?ve learned over the past few years is the power of moving forward, just one step at a time.
The Cover branding had halted my progress. I was stuck. So I took just one step forward, asked for help, and then I became unstuck. Cover issue solved. Forward sailing again.
Bob Proctor taught us for years that you don?t have to know the HOW, just the WHAT and the WHY. Part of the excitement of any life journey are the unexpected experiences along the way that spring from the unveiling of the HOW. I can attest to that.
So today if you find yourself stuck, just take one step forward.
I think you will be amazed at what awaits you.
